Chapter 01 — The beginning
A lecture hall
in Milano
Fresh out of high school, Gianmarco enrols in Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Milano — one of Europe’s top technical universities. First lines of code, first all-nighters, first taste of engineering for real.
ENROLLED · B.Sc.
Chapter 02 — Level up
Bachelor unlocked.
Master loading…
Degree number one is in the bag. No pause, no gap year — straight into the MSc in Computer Science & Engineering, still at Politecnico. Distributed systems, software architecture, and the first serious encounters with the cloud.
Chapter 03 — The double milestone
Cap, gown,
and a badge
The biggest year yet. Master’s thesis defended, degree earned — and weeks later, a new badge to wear: Infrastructure Transformation Analyst at Accenture, Milan. Cloud foundations, IaC, and a financial-services client migrating its vital systems to the cloud.
“A management platform integrating smart parking and charging stations” M.Sc. thesis · Score 105
JOINED · Accenture, Milan
Chapter 04 — Senior
Promoted.
Certified. Eleven times.
Two years of cloud foundations, CI/CD pipelines and Terraform later, the title changes: Infrastructure Transformation Senior Analyst. Designing AWS solutions, owning pipelines, analysing infrastructure costs — and stacking AWS, Azure and HashiCorp certifications along the way.
13 certifications · AWS · Azure · HashiCorp
The journey
continues
Today: designing cloud-native infrastructure, automating everything that can be automated, and helping financial-services clients move what matters to the cloud. The next chapter is being written — in Terraform.
